Traveling Fairy House
This tiny Traveling Fairy House is a matchbox! There are various versions of this but I like this one from Polka Dot Daze.

Critters
Sleepy birds and wide-awake birds. I love them all.
Melissa Sue Stanley, from the Chicago area, designs and makes critters like these birds and lots of others. She also crochets and her amigurumi critters are just adorable.
I found these on Melissa Sue's blog, art = love = life. She sells her items in a couple of places but you can find the "wide awake" bird in her Etsy shop here ($45).

From the Past Week
Since I'm doing some other things and don't have any of my own stuff to post about, I thought I would share a few more of my favorites from around Blogland this past week...1. Miniature cuties from Atelier Sterre (via Daisy in lala Land)
2. Lovely egg basket from Marie Claire Idees Blog with complete how to.
3. Injured George by Make It Awesome via Softies Central. Poor bunny. (Cute!!)
4. Wool Butterfly Lampshade by MIXKO
5. Great idea for using an old book cover from Sweet Paul.

Fils et Ficelles
Fils et Ficelles is a blog I follow regularly and here's one of the reasons why. This very, very sweet necklace she made.Little felted birdies. Love the soft Spring colors...gives me hope that Spring will soon come.
Speaking of birds...we have some nesters in our transom window at the front door again this year. I'll try to see if I can get some pictures.

Snowman
I made this ornament based on Tone Finnanger's Tilda line. It's sort of a loose interpretation.I made the button from polymer clay - my first one. The scarf is a little scrap of fabric from the dress I made for Madison for Christmas last year (sorry, no picture) and the wings are from the fabric I used to make her first birthday dress.

Softie Bunny: Bitty
Experimenting with making felt animals from a picture in a Japanese craft book. This bunny's name is Bitty and he's about 4" tall.
I thought I would make Bitty in gray because I've been making a lot of things in pink lately.
He didn't live with us long because my sister claimed him as soon as she saw him.
